Verizon is shipping my fourth LG Dare. I should get it Wednesday. I’m starting to think that fancy touchscreen phones are a bad idea, even though it’s painfully obvious that all cell phones will have this technology within the next few years.

After two months and four different cell phones, I have finally found one that makes me happy. It is the new LG Chocolate 3 – a bluetooth music phone.

Verizon likes to make things complicated for their cell phone users by blocking the ability to set mp3s in the music folder as ringtones, but where there’s a will, there’s always a way.

I switched my mobile phone provider to AT&T for a myriad of reasons, one of which was being able to control my pictures and songs the way I wanted to. Verizon Wireless makes their users jump through hoops just to set an mp3 as a ringtone.
