Karen and I drove to Nashville yesterday to see Annie Lennox perform at the Ryman. The drive down went by quickly as we talked and enjoyed the beautiful fall colors in the trees lining the highway.

Karen and I have tickets to see Annie Lennox at the Ryman in Nashville on October 28th. Yay!
Her new album, Songs of Mass Destruction, drops on October 2nd and it’s already getting rave reviews. I’m hopelessly addicted to the first single, “Dark Road”. Click here to watch the video.

Alyson and I took a spur-of-the-moment trip to Nashville last night to see Bon Jovi, Jewel, Big & Rich, Billy Currington, Keith Anderson and others. The concert was a benefit for Buck Jones, an up-and-coming country artist who was killed by a drunk driver.

Anyone who knows me very well, knows that I’m a skyscraper freak. It’s like a sickness. If I’m driving thru a big city, I am constantly getting screamed at to “watch the road”, because I’m distracted by all the tall buildings and can’t keep my eyes off of them.
