One of my favorite new skyscrapers, Beekman Place, recently topped out at 74 floors (876 ft). It took a little while to grow on me, but I’m digging the wavy sides. It’s also a great addition to lower Manhattan.

Nakheel, the developer that created the man-made islands in Dubai, has announced plans to create a skyscraper that will far surpass the height of the current world’s tallest building, the Burj Dubai.
The building will have “more than 200 floors” and be part of “a multi-billion pound development”, the company said.

The exciting new supertall in Dubai is rising at an exceptional pace, expected to reach nearly 100 stories by the end of the year. With a projected height of 160 floors or more, this will become the tallest building in the world.
