  • I just wanted to leave a comment to tell you how much I’ve enjoyed reading your blog today.

  • Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. ;)

  • Alyson

Glad to see “Brothers & Sisters” on here, I knew you’d come around. lol.

  • We are recording the reruns of B&S, but they’re all new to us. Have they only been on one season so far? If so, we won’t have to miss any of them.

  • Alyson

Yep, this was the first season.

  • Kelly

    Where are the Simpsons?

I guess you know it’s me.

    Your friend, the cartoon watcher——————————————————————————

(enter anticipation here—with a drum roll, of course)

    Kelly

OOPS—wait a minute, my name automatically appears at the heading of the segment.

    silly me, laughing again.

  • Kelly,

I love the Simpsons and really want to see their new movie, but my favorite cartoon is probably The Family Guy. It’s hilarious!

  • Alyson

I was watching The Family Guy recently and Stewie was smoking, Connor, age 4, came in and was watching, mesmerized. So…… I went into mommy mode, telling him, “Smoking’s not cool”, “if you smoke you’ll die” etc. Well, he is a compulsive worrier, so now if he sees someone in the family, or someone at church smoking he asks me to tell them to stop before they die.

  • “I like them if they’re LA CROIX, sweety darling!!”

  • @ jaunarys – Oh my gosh, I’ve got to pull out my Ab Fab discs now!

  • I’m jealous – you own AbFab!?

    “Patsy hasn’t eaten since 1974!”

  • Yes, I do! I have every season on DVD. :)

  • Your line-up of music is right up my alley, especially anything Tori Amos (“Little Earthquakes” is still an all-time fave) and Sarah McLachlan (cf “Fear” and “Possession”).

  • @ Sideon: We must have incredibly similar tastes in music. “Little Earthquakes” will always be my preferred Tori album, and both “Fear” and Possession” are among my favorite McLachlan tracks.

  • Howdy – because of Pandora, I’ve been expanding my musical tastes (there IS life beyond the 80′s, they say). If you get a chance, try and find “Roisin Murphy” and anything from her 2nd album “Overpowered” – particularly “Dear Miami” and “Parallel Lives.” Listen and enjoy…

  • @ Sideon: I’ve never heard of her, but I’ll definitely check into her music. Thanks for the recommendation!
