I just realized yesterday that I haven’t posted anything here for an entire month. There are several things I could blame – too busy, nothing to say, etc – but the real culprit is Facebook.
I’ve posted in the past about how much I hate Facebook, but the truth is it grows on you. It’s much easier and faster to post a short update than it is to compose a long blog entry. Most people’s attention spans have devolved to the point that they aren’t really interested in more than a couple of sentences anyway.
But I miss blogging and I intend to bring this baby back to life. I’ve got plenty of potential posts floating around inside my head, so surely one or two can come to fruition.

Ah yes, Facebook. It is so much faster to just post a status update and check out your friend’s status’. But in the end, I find it’s like snacking at meal time. I end up hungry for dinner still and needing real nourishment. That’s what blogs are for me… fuel. Glad to have you back?
