We are still without electricity and phone service at home. Of all the houses in our subdivision, only five are without power. We had a rather exciting morning. The remnants of Hurricane Ike crossed our area and collided with another system, producing winds in excess of 70 mph. Meteorologists say this hasn’t happened here before, and I hope it never happens again.
