In order to move the content that was already saved to my phone before I put in the memory card, I had to go through each picture and move them individually into it. There was no select all option, because there is nowhere to go from there. It takes a while to get all the pictures, especially if there are a lot on the phone, but it is possible!

Hey, everyone. This forum has been enormously helpful for me transferring photos from my phone to PC. I didn't see it here (although I didn't read all the posts), but I did figure out how to set your phone to always save whatever picture you take to the memory card, rather than to the internal memory. That way, whenever you connect the phone to your PC with the USB cable, you'll always see the photos in the Photo Folder of the Memory Card. Here's how (this will also make the Memory Card the default for any videos you take):

Menu--> My Stuff --> Pictures --> (or just hold down the button on the side of the phone to take a picture)

Take Photo --> Select Options

Scroll down to Option 6, Primary Storage --> Select Memory Card

The phone's default is to save pictures and videos to the handset's internal memory. Since I haven't figured out how to get my PC to recognize the internal memory, I changed this setting and it's a breeze transferring photos now.

Hope this helps!

If you already have photos on your phone, you'll still need to individually select and copy or move them to the Memory Card for your PC to see them. But, going forward, if you change that setting, you'll never need to do that again.

i understand how to transfer images to the phone. my system reads it perfectly. the only trouble i am having is when i set up a new folder in my pictures window on the phone, it is not being shown when i go to select all and copy images from my computer. i want to see them in the phone, but only when i open the folder, not when i open the pictures setting on the phone. when i go to My Stuff..#4 Pictures, the new folder is there, but i haven't figured out how to put the photos i want in it!!

Thanks for posting the instructions on how to set up the LG phone correctly so that I can use it as a mass storage device. There seems to be a dearth of information and the people at the stores don't seem to know anything.
