I’m A Dork – I ordered new glasses last Saturday and picked them up on Tuesday. I noticed one of the screws was sticking out, so returned to the store the next day. They tried to fix them, broke the screw, ordered me a new set of frames, and sent me home with super-glued glasses.
Cloverfield – I thought the movie pretty much lived up to the hype when we went to see it yesterday, but the amateur style of filming gave Alan motion-sickness. I noticed the couple in front of us left about half-way through and never returned, probably suffering from the same ailment. There was plenty of applause when the film ended, and I hope it was for the movie and not the fact that it had ended.
