Brian,

I'm not sure of the website to which inquiries are directed, but www.influenza.com is helpful. It also has a link to the Center for Disease Control for vaccination recommendations.

I remember last year the Avian Flu was the cause of quite a few deaths in China, and the fear was that it would spread globally within a few months.

I would think that large coastal cities like New York, Miami and L.A. would be more vulnerable since they are entry points of international travel.

The official website for this campaign specifically refers to the "Bird" flu, a virus that humans catch from handling infected birds.

This flu has not been known to transmit from human-to-human yet, and hasn't even been detected in our country.

I was wondering the same thing Karen.

I got my children flu shots last year, and the older one still managed to get the flu!

What I want to know is why are two Asian children featured on the billboard in a community with so few of our own?

Brian, I just saw one like this and have heard the radio ads and I was thinking the same thing!!!!
There is even a website were you can go if you have questions about it!
The radio ads strongly encourage handwashing as the best way to decrease your chances of getting it or speading it.

I think that there must be something to "it"... kind of scary!!!

Also, that last round of flu that was going around here was very easy to "catch" and I know that when I had it, I really felt like I was dying!!!
