Diesel Jeans Gay Sailor Advertisement
2007 May 28
The beautiful picture at the top of my site is derived from a controversial print ad for Diesel Jeans.
From Oh la la Blog - This Navy Gay Kiss is probably one of the most famous gay ads. Photographed by David Lachapelle for Diesel in 1994, with former couple Bob and Rod Jackson-Paris ran in Interview and a few other fashion magazines as well as the gay press.

I was wondering where your banner came from. I like it!
That picture is SO So so awesome…
Ed commented, “Wow. That guy’s got Huge arms…”
We did not even realize it was Bob and Rod…
No Wonder he has huge arms… Duh!
And it makes a magnificent banner for your blog.
An excellent choice!
I keep hearing Village People music…
@ jgrab1:
Any idea where I can get a poster of Diesel’s Gay Sailor Advertisement please?
@ ian: I don’t have a clue where you could find one. I’d say that Diesel owns the copyright and probably wouldn’t allow a third-party to sell posters, though.
too gay geared toward only one type of people it shouldnt subject all of us to this
@ gat: I guess the flip-side of that argument is that we gays shouldn’t have to be subjected to all your heterosexual-oriented advertising? Think about it.
