I worked this morning, then came home and surfed on my notebook while Alan watched his newly arrived DVD’s of Gimme A Break. He’s a big fan of Nell Carter, and it’s almost as much fun to watch him react to her comedic performances as it is to watch the show itself.
Our neighbor had us over for dinner, which was followed by coconut pie and a long, relaxing visit. Her house is so familiar and comfortable that the combination of a full stomach and conversation came close to causing me to fall asleep. I’ve been up too late most nights this week and really need to catch up on my zzz’s.
I have to work for a little while in the morning before church. We’ll probably catch a movie afterwards, although a nap sounds a little more inviting at this point. On that note, I’m going to bed.
