Christmas Shopping
Well, I actually got to start my Christmas shopping Monday night, and it was barely a start, too. I still have tons of gifts to buy, and only 4 days to finish.
I used to love the crowded stores and busy streets, but the older I get the less it appeals to me. People are so rude! I was in a restaurant in the mall the other night, and Santa’s helper literally threw a fit because she didn’t get a mall employee discount on two drinks. And, no, I didn’t make that up. I considered telling the restaurant employees that they shouldn’t expect anything for Christmas, because she would obviously be telling Santa how bad they were.
Anyway, I will be glad when all the running around is done and I can relax with family and friends and enjoy the true reason we all go crazy this time of year.
