Saturday Evening Wrap-Up
Mom showed up with her new car, a Honda Civic, and I rode with Grandmama and her to see my sister’s new house. When we arrived, my dad was already there, which was a little weird as they have been divorced for several years.
After Mom brought me back home, they came in for a little while. My neighbor came over after that and visited, so it’s been sort of a family/friends day.
Twinkie seemed to do okay in the bedroom this morning. I have brought him out a few times, but am leaving him in there for the most part. He is using the litter box with ripped up paper towels in it.
I read the paper the vet sent home with me and it instructs me to check his paws for bleeding or discharge. After inspecting his toes with a flashlight, I am almost sick. I guess they look as expected, but I’m starting to second-guess this whole declawing thing.
Oh, and Nancy Grace totally had a face-lift or Botox injections during her “vacation”.
